for my hoster he doesnt know his ip adress, i found mine by a suddon twist of fate but how would he find his, anyone got any sites or something.

In the computer you hav 2 ips which one do you want internal or external?

im not sure like when i look at my 2 ips i get my router ips and not my real one i had to go to that site to get my real ip

To find all ur info go to "Run" then in the box type in "cmd" then you will see a blackscreen and on dat screen type in "ipconfig" if you r using windows xp

yes but if you have a router it will only give you the router ip and not you real one

it seems i have gotten 2 ip adresses, and 1 doesnt let anyone connect and the other only alows him to connect this is f**ked up any help people ON HOW to find a working IP.

The two numbers.... One is your internal I.P., Im guessing its 192.168.something.something, this would let someone on your local network join. The other one is your external I.P. This is your routers ip. What you need to do is configure your router to forward all traffic on port 6900 to your internal IP. This lets Ragnarok users connect to your internal ip. The command for this will be dependant on your router type, and you might have to telnet into it or something. Sorry I cant help more, but without actually being there, this is all guessing...

Also if hes using a router you need to let 6900 in and you use the other ip not the 192 one....i think

No, The 192 IP is your internal IP which allows people to connect to your computer. He probbly just needs to open port 6900. Okay Dark, you should have two IP addresses at this point: One that's like 255.255.255.0 or something similar and another one. Use the different one.

i would get this done faster but i cant talk with my host cus my parants keep saying im on the phone too much, then the comp too much, the im outside too much, im alwaysd doing something too much, god dammit this is gonna take a while.
